28 Days To a Better You. Day 3
Attitude determines altitude. Bury the negative and focus on the positive. If you think you can’t you can’t. If you think you can you can. As a man/woman thinketh so is he/she. All things have been promised to you in the beginning just open your mind and receive what is in store for you. Open your mind to the possibilities. Your higher power is your source of supply. Believe that a power greater than yourself can restore you to fullness.
The mystics had a three-point formula for success which included 1) Purification or cleansing. 2) Illumination, or receiving guidance on how to be improved or prospered. 3) Union with  a Higher Power.
How do you clean out your mind? Get rid of what you do not want. Clean out the negative thoughts. Refuse to listen to others talking down to you. Read positive books. Listen to positive people. Renew your mind with good things and thoughts.
Remember that your ears pick up all words around you and they go into your mind and then into your subconscious. Guard your ears carefully. Guard the words of your mouth. Oil and water do not mix. Negative and positive do not mix. To be positive you must get rid of the negative.
When you get your mind in a positive state of mind you will feel refreshed inside. Your attitude will change for the better. When your attitude changes your life will improve. People will notice a difference in you. Good will be attracted to you. Negative and negative people will no longer want to be around you because you are positive and your attitude has changed.
Say to yourself : I will clean out my mind. I will not listen to negative. I will listen only to the positive. I will speak only positive thoughts. I will listen for guidance. I will re-establish my relationship with my higher power.

28 Days to a Better You. Day 2
Choice is a divine gift given to all human beings. We are in the mess we are in because we chose to be there. By the same power of mind you can choose to get out of the mess you are in. It is so simple yet at times so hard. We allow so many others to tell us how bad things are. We get depressed. Our emotions run amuck. How sick we look. How unworthy they think we are. Liar, Liar, pants on fire. Remember that childhood saying? Well the words may sound silly but the principle is the same. When you little friends used to tell you things that you did not believe about your self you would say something like that phase. You can still do that as an adult.
Do not give in to the negatives. When you do you are making the choice to stay in that condition. Make a decision and choose to improve the situation. Don’t wait for something to happen. Make something happen. The first step is making a choice and then take action and do something to change the situation.
A made up determined mind is one of the most powerful forces we have in our arsenal. We always have a choice in the matter. In the Old Testament of the Hebrew scriptures Joshua had to make a quality decision. He said, “Choose you this day whom you will serve… By making the right choice He moved forward to victory.
You know the choice you need to make. You know the right path. Follow your heart. Let your heart be your guide. You know the undeniable truth. Follow the truth and the truth will make you free. The right choice will give you peace of mind. Following the right path will restore harmony in your life.
Nothing can stop me from making the right choice. By choosing good over evil I am making the right choice. Today I will make the right choices.

Quality Decision

28 Days to a Better You!

Day 1. A Quality Decision

Today make a quality decision that you are going to be the best that you can be.  You may feel dirty or unclean, crumpled or battered, maybe you are depressed, you are still priceless to the universe and those who DO LOVE you.  The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE. You are special- Don’t ever forget it.

Declare war on your situation. Whatever it is that is holding you back remember it is the enemy. Often times it is the enemy of a wrong choice. The enemy can only gain ground if you give it any. See the solution and not the problem. The forces that generate possibilities are mental and spiritual. So open your mind to possibilities and not limitations. Read through these blogs to strengthen your emotions.

Avoid negative talk, thoughts, and those that are negative. Turn a deaf ear to negativity. Focus on the positive. I am. I will. I can.  In The Book He said he came for us to have an abundant life.

CWG devotion today  speaks clearly to making quality decisions and choices:

morning comes every day; the sunrise does not

fail, nor the sunset.

Give it time. That is all that may be required. Just give

it time. Do not try to push the river. The cycles of life

present themselves, play themselves out, and make

smooth every passage and terrain.

Try not to get caught up in your story of the moment.

Look, rather, to the Long Story. Therein will be

found your peace. The cycles will redeem this

moment, if you let them, and even this shall pass.

Fears assail us; anxieties haunt us; we become irritated and nervous. But, never never give up. Renew your resourcefulness. You and who you are. Say it over and over again until you can feel it in your innermost being. I am a good person. I will recover from this situation. I can do all things through my Higher Power that strengthens me.
